Life Goals

by

in

To be in the thrall of a goal,

and look through the lens of purpose,

is to walk through a maze,

of projections and shadows,

of walls and ways that thwart and aid you.

To surrender it all,

is to walk on open plain,

surrounded only,

by the presence of God,

whose living spirit guides you.

For what you take to be your own trajectory and will,

is but a cyclical orbit – that recursive – binds you,

like a moon, pulled through endless birth and death,

your soul’s desires compel you through the continuum of endless time.

Relinquish only the mass of your name,

and let silence call you,

from your orbit to the center:

to a freedom like a light all-permeating,

that unobstructed, unreflected, unobserved,

transcends the quantum-field of consciousness,

and sets you eternally in this eternal instance,

and raises you infinitely into infinite presence.
