Thy Will Be Done

When I was young, my unbended will exceeded all societal conventions. Defending its equilibrium, society corrected me, and I gave up my will in capitulation to normality. Life became empty and dry, and, not myself, I couldn’t connect to others.

Will is of the life-form. The duality of power and helplessness collapses when life and consciousness expands beyond the apparent separation of volumes into the unity of essence. Then the life within the life-form lives in natural harmony with the one unity of all of life in all forms.

Then, something deeper watchers life set free, free-fall through its loving absence of self. The person, as a naturally arising a phenomenon, no longer imbued with self-identity, relaxes into natural unself-conscious self-expression. Surrender your personhood and set life free. Let your absence be the great opening through which the tree of life unfolds from its seed.
